Most home pianos do well with tuning twice a year—often around seasonal changes—because humidity shifts affect pitch and stability.
Pianos in heavy use (schools, studios, venues) may need more frequent visits. We can recommend a schedule once we know how your instrument is used.
Often, yes. Even careful moves can change string tension and stability. We usually recommend letting the piano settle briefly in the new space, then scheduling a tuning (and sometimes a quick assessment) so everything sounds and feels right again.
